Faros’ desire is that through an overflowing of the Holy Spirit, the Church may return to the first love and that people may have a genuine encounter with Jesus Christ.

While the world trembles before the storms of doubt and fear, the light of Christ shines in the darkness to mark the path towards salvation. With this conviction, Faros becomes an instrument of the Lord that guides people to the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ under the direction of the Holy Spirit, all through music.

According to the Spanish dictionary, the definition of Faro is:

Faro (noun)
1. tall tower found on the coasts, which emits an intense light to orient sailors at night
2. person or thing that orients a process or development

Faros represents an instrument that guides everyone who listens towards the light of the gospel of Christ. The light of God is what shines in our hearts. We simply reflect it towards the world. 2 Corinthians 4:6 New Living Translation (NLT) For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.

Faros is formed by members of the same church that have joined in crafting original music in honor of the same God who has saved them all and given them purpose. Jairo Cipolla is on the keys, voices, and arrangements, Mariel Cipolla - voices, Paola Puerta - voices, Jonathan Drada - drums, Mario Pena - Bass.

We'd like to thank a few collaborators for their work and effort that went into making this project a reality. Thanks to Daniel and Hernán Cipolla from Nikhos Ideas for collaborating in every aspect needed to make this a reality.  And we'd like to recognize Benjamin Velazquez and Jose Dario Aristizábal for their creative and musical collaboration on this record.
